Big demand and low supply for orange mandarin garnets
Spessartite garnet in orange fanta color have been seen with a huge increase in price. This stone is in fashion in Asia, and manufacturers are buying all stones they can get to answer their demand for ready made products.
Mines for this stone in Nigeria are quite exhausted, but some new material is coming from Madagascar and Tanzania, but supply from these news mines is too small to fill the big demand.
