Ramzan, also called Ramdan, Ramadan or Ramadhan is the Muslim fasting month. This month show a decline in gemstone production but not in the number of good deals available in the market

Ramzan, also called Ramdan, Ramadan or Ramadhan is the Muslim fasting month. This month show a decline in gemstone production but not in the number of good deals available in the market.
To keep workers on duty, gemstones factories have to raise cash from owned stock in order to cover expenses during this yearly production slowdown. They also need to raise cash to honor properly the Id' ul' Fitr festival (end of fasting month).
Another factor which brings good deals on the market is the need for big companies to invest more and more money to support their real estate schemes.
As a result, small and big lots are offered with very low prices. Lots of Indian ruby necklaces and cabochons are offered below cutting charges. Big carving lots in South Indian amethyst (strong zoning) are on the market.
The very few buyers in town are currently making very nice deals on these seasonal lots.
